Independent Producers

Guidelines for independent producer submissions.

New Hampshire PBS: Engaging Minds, Connecting Communities and Celebrating New Hampshire. If you are an independent producer and your work meets the goals outlined here, we welcome your submission.

NHPBS places special emphasis on content related to New Hampshire, Northern New England and the Boston area including:

  • Programs that celebrate New Hampshire and New England’s unique history and culture
  • Programs about quality of life
  • Programs that educate, entertain and enrich
  • Documentaries exploring issues of importance/public affairs.

NHPBS operates in a limited resource environment and seeks to engage with producers on a no or limited cost basis.

NHPBS IS ACCEPTING FINISHED PROJECTS FOR BROADCAST.

NHPBS occasionally serves as the presenting station for national distribution. NHPBS less frequently engages in co-productions. In both instances, NHPBS will seek cost recovery on all fees incurred in the distribution and production process.

NHPBS follows the guidelines of PBS, APT and NETA for local and national distribution. Please review below links before submitting your proposal.

To submit a proposal, please complete the PROGRAM PROPOSAL FORM
