 On November 5 about 20 teachers attended a session at the New Hampshire Council for the Social Studies Conference at the Center of New Hampshire to learn more about the Primary Mock Election. Senator John Edwards stopped in to greet the teachers. Pictured here is Senator Edwards and Theresa Keane, 6th Grade teacher at New Searles Elementary School in Nashua and winner of the 2002 National Mock Election League of Women Voters Award for for increasing parent and community participation in the Mock Election and/or in the actual election.
