Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter
NH Outlook concludes its series of conversations with New Hampshire's Congressional delegation, with
Rep. Carol Shea-Porter. NH Outlook host Beth Carroll speaks with the first-term Congresswoman at the NH Political Library housed in the State Library in Concord. The Rochester Democrat was elected to Congress in 2006 riding a wave of voter discontent with President Bush and the war in Iraq. Shea-Porter is the first woman from New Hampshire to win national office and the first Democrat to take the state's first-district seat in Congress in more than 20 years. Hear her thoughts on gas prices, the war, the race for president, her re-election bid and more.
