AARP
NH Outlook's Beth Carroll talks with AARP’s National President, Jennie Chin Hansen, about a new approach to long-term care of older people. The idea is to keep older people connected to their communities and living independently as long as possible.
Lighthouse Kids
White Island Lighthouse is NH's only off-shore lighthouse. Over the past century, weather and rough seas have taken a toll on the structure. A group of students from North Hampton School, known as the Lighthouse Kids, are out to save it.
Foster Grandparents
The Friends Foster Grandparents Program pairs seniors with children in childcare centers, local schools or youth-service settings. The Foster Grandparents volunteer their time and work with the same children throughout the year. NH Outlook's Celene Ramadan explains how the program works in Northfield.
