A few days later her mother was close to dying. Maeve sat by her mother's side all day and night until her mother closed her eyes and didn't open them. Slowly her eyes struggled to open and her mom said, "I love you!" She closed them again and then stopped breathing. Maeve's eyes filled with tears. Her mom was dead! As Maeve was about to give up all home, a voice appeared and it said, "I always keep my promises." Then the room turned sparkly and her mother's eyes opened and she was breathing again. They kissed and hugged and then Maeve whispered, "Thank you!"
