The next day the bucks prepared to ram the trees. The birds saw the bucks and got ready to drop branches. The bucks charged the trees and the birds dropped branches. But the birds dropped the branches too soon. All of a sudden the bucks stopped their charge and one of the bucks said, "We hit the trees then the branches should fall down, not the branches fall down before we hit the trees"! Then a bird replied, "Oops"! The bucks looked up and the birds flew away. |
