I was inspired to write these next poems by the beauty of winter.
Flake of Snow
Snowflake, snowflake, small and white,|
I can't see you in the night.
But in the day, you shine so bright.
Snowflake, snowflake, what a sight!
Christmas
String the lights
Quick, quick, quick
Soon will come
Old St. Nick.
Christmas carols,
Gifts in the barrels,
The baby's birth
Means Peace on Earth
Glistening Ice
Clear as a diamond,
Shimmering on the window.
You glimmer and shine. |
