When they arrived at the party, they saw many different types of dogs wearing fancy scarves and bows. The room was decorated with lots of ribbons and balloons. The table was covered with a tablecloth and all of the dogs sat around it on mats. Tiffany, a golden retriever, sat in the best seat next to Sadie. Anna told her friend, Rachel, “Tiffany looks great! The decorations are lovely, too.” “Thank you,” said Rachel. “I hope everyone has a great time. It was a lot of work to get this all prepared.” Anna assured her friend, “I think every dog here is having a great time.” The lights went off, and Rachel’s mother brought out a birthday cake for the dogs. Everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to Tiffany.
