The night finally came. Jasmine put her best dress on and checked her hair three times.
She saw Lenny coming up the road. Jasmine was so excited as she ran downstairs. She thought to herself “This will be the best night ever!”
At the library, Lenny read a book while Jasmine stared at him for three hours!
When they finally got outside, there was a taxi waiting. Jasmine got in while Lenny paid for her ride home. She asked him to get in.
He said “Sorry, Abby and I are going on a date.”
Abby came over and hugged Lenny.
Jasmine watched as Abby closed the door of the taxi.
