It was called a Tom Thumb wedding, and they picked kids from first and second grade to be in it. My grandmother, Ruth was the bride. My grandfather was a groomsman, my uncle Bob was the minister, and my aunt Nancy was a bridesmaid. My great-grandmother, Mrs. Connors, sewed the wedding dress.
