The next day I had gotten an e-mail from Estella Courtet who was the designer of the most visited store in Paris. She had accepted my dress as a children's design and said that I would get five hundred dollars for every dress that was sold. I would receive an official designer card. I remembered this gracious moment my whole life, and now I tell my children and the tale goes on forever.
