The next morning instead of sitting all ruffled up, Squawk joined the morning chorus. After the chorus was finished Squawk flew along his territory instead of sitting on a branch to claim it. All the while Squawk kept saying to himself "don't give up. Don't give up." After his rounds where finished Squawk flew to his beach tree and sang for a mate.
