Brain the Bird Learns to Fly

The next morning, Brian woke and flew over to his mom. In a squeaky voice he asked, “Hey mom can you teach me to fly?”

“Well sure.” his mom said.

They spent hours of learning how to fly.

“I can’t fly.” Brian said ready to give up.

“What did you say.” murmured his mom.

“I can’t FLY!” He cried.

“Never say I can’t, because one day you will fly.” His mom coached.

The next day Brian sat down and started to flap his wings.

“Well today will be the day I will hopefully fly. If not today, maybe next week.” Chirped Brian.

His mom showed him how to flap his wings, and land. It was not easy, but Brian did not give up.
