Because he had a keen sense of smell, Ziggy said to Max, “I smell someone’s wallet. I think it’s Mr. Jim’s.” Ziggy said, “Let’s go find it, I hope the geese aren’t pecking at it.” They dashed to the first hole, but the wallet wasn’t there. They raced to the second hole. No luck there, either. Max and Ziggy were picking up the scent a little stronger, now. At the third hole, they saw a flock of geese pecking at Mr. Jim’s wallet! |
