The doctor said, “You injured your spinal cord which means you may never be able to walk or run again.”
“But what about track?” I asked tears pouring down.
“Well, you might have to find something else to do; I know it’s sad April,” the doctor replied.
After several weeks at the rehab hospital the doctor said I could go
home. It felt good to be home, but it was really hard being in a wheelchair.
