One day Black Hawk had an idea to torture the pup so he didn’t have to take care of him, so he called a meeting. He told everyone to not take care of the pup. One nine year old girl liked the pup because if he played, it didn’t hurt when he bit or clawed her. At night the little girl would feed the pup. When the tribe hit and beat him, the girl would patch up the wounds.
