Charlotte hated recess. She hid under the slide, wishing that she was invisible. Some teachers tried to help Charlotte by making her play kickball with the other kids. Charlotte couldn’t tell them that she didn’t want to because she was too nervous, so she stood there and let the balls bounce off her head.
