A rainbow colored bird landed very gently on a rock in front of them.
"Are you the chipmunks trying to get home?"
"Yes, we are. Can you help us?"
"Yes, I can," said the bird. "Get on my back."
The servants put a small chest of gold in the chipmunk's lap. The bird flew to the Cricket Kingdom.
Then the bird landed right in front of the Cricket King. The Cricket King gave them some magic shoes which made them jump from their kingdom to their home. The Cricket King gave each of them an origami cricket to remind them of him so that they would visit again sometime soon. Then they jumped home.
