When Jake got to the scary tree he wanted to go back, but he still wanted to go home. Jake wasn't scared of the tree in daytime, but at night he was very scared of it. At night the wind blew through the branches of the tree so it looked scary. He did not know where to go. His mother was very cold.
She was calling, " Jake, come home and get in bed."
Jake was not listening, but he heard someone calling. He kept following the sound and then he saw someone. he ran toward the object until he saw his mother. He hugged her a lot. And then they went home.
