Every morning during spring and summer, Pa and Brother Black Eyes make wooden brooks from trees. They carve the trees into broom handles with their teeth and tie grass at the end of the broom handles.
Sister Saw makes wooden toys like trucks and trains. She uses pieces of the cut trees that Pa and Brother Black Eyes don’t need. She glues the pieces together with sap from the pine trees.
