After several hours of walking they found a small farm.
“That’s Rex, the watch dog. Be careful around him, he’s really good at his job,” whispered Tom as he pointed at a large chocolate lab.
Suddenly Jack yelled, “Samantha!”
A large squirrel popped out of the ground.
“Yes?”
“This is Snickers, take good care of him,” Jack demanded.
“Yes sir,” Samantha saluted.
But before Snickers could climb into the burrow, a woman grabbed him.
The lady said, “You shouldn’t be here.”
She put Snickers into the back seat of her Charger and drove him to an animal shelter. |
