Milking Machine
There were four suction attachments that were connected to the udder at the teats. Once the machine was done milking the cows, the cow needed to be hand milked to make sure all the milk was gone from the udder (or the cow would get an infection.).
thesnowstorm Scoot
A simply built wooden sled with ski runners at the bottom of it called shoes. It is dragged by horses in the muddy woods to get sap or wood. In our story my great great grandfather rigged the scoot to carry the milk cans.
