COMMUNITY OUTREACH EVENTS
Alzheimer's Disease Resource Kits:
Each library in the Granite State will receive Alzheimer's
resource kits provided by The
Alzheimer's Association of Vermont and New Hampshire, in
partnership with NHPTV, the New
Hampshire ServiceLink Network, Seniors
Count/Easter Seals, and New
Hampshire Library Association. The kits include informative
pamphlets and brochures provided by several organizations.
Memory Screening: 9
- 10:30 a.m. & 11:30 a.m.
- 1:00 p.m.
Date: Thursday, January 22, 2004
Location: Easter
Seals, 555 Auburn Street, Manchester
You must pre-register in order to attend any portion of
the day's program. Call ASK-A-NURSE at (603) 626-2626.
Memory naturally slows down with aging, but
distinguishing between natural memory lapses or something
more serious is sometimes difficult to determine. A simple
screening process, conducted by professionals from the
Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, may help assess
the nature of memory loss. The memory loss screening is
provided by Easter Seals, the Mental Health Center of
Greater Manchester and Catholic Medical Center.
